Sick Day Tea

This easy tea is perfect to soothe a sore throat or a nasty cough. You can even make ahead of time and leave it in the fridge. Just add hot water. Feel free to add or subtract the amount of ginger, lemon and honey to satisfy your taste buds.

Ingredients

  • fresh ginger root
  • lemon slices
  • honey (to taste)
  • hot water

Directions

  1. Peel ginger root and thinly slice.
  2. Slice lemon
  3. Add 1-2 slices of ginger and a slice of lemon to a mug of hot water.
  4. Add honey to taste.
  5. Enjoy
  6. Place extra ginger root and lemon slices in a container in the fridge to use later.
